Overview of the Training
This training provides a comprehensive understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), covering system configuration, battery technologies, equipment sizing, system design, installation, operation, maintenance, and safety practices. Participants will gain practical knowledge of off-grid, hybrid, and utility-scale BESS applications, along with system performance evaluation and project economics.
The training has 14 main topics presented so that trainees learn and practice all aspects of Grid Connected Battery Energy Storage Systems. Topics contain of illustrative reading materials, working examples for study, quizzes and exercises. Various types of quizzes and assessment are provided.

Pre-requisites
Participants for this course preferably should have an engineering degree or diploma or a degree in science with understanding of electrical engineering.
