GSES Training Update for January to March 2020

GSES India has trained 192 engineers and entrepreneurs during January to March 2020. Our face to face professional advantage, technical advantage and business advantage courses were attended by the participants from Delhi/NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Afghanistan and Nigeria. Apart from face to face training programmes, 41 participants also enrolled for GSES online professional and technical advantage courses.

Under the World Bank Technical Assistance program SUPRABHA, GSES India conducted two training programs for utility engineers from Delhi Power Distribution Companies. The 2-day solar grid engineer  training programmes were attended by utility engineers from three distribution companies in Delhi.   Another 2-day training under SUPRABHA was conducted by GSES India was on installation of small Rooftop PV plants at Guwahati, Assam. This training was attended by engineers and technicians from solar companies, state nodal agency AEDA and state distribution company APDCL.  

During this period GSES India conducted two corporate trainings on solar PV systems design and installation. The first training was conducted  in January 2020 for a private company in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The second training was conducted in March 2020 for ENVIS Sikkim. This training was attended by engineers, officers and the manager from Sikkim nodal agency SREDA and local entrepreneurs and unemployed youths from Sikkim.

What did the participants like most about the programmes?

GSES Training update for June to December 2019

GSES India has trained 90 engineers and entrepreneurs during June to December 2019. Our face to face professional advantage, technical advantage and business advantage courses were attended by the participants from Delhi/NCR, Punjab, Assam, Kerala, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Haryana, Punjab, Oman, Afghanistan, Russia and Bhutan.

GSES India conducted 3-days training program for Indian Port of Authority’s official from different ports of India at New Delhi to gain the insight on overview of renewable energy.

GSES India conducted 2-Days Consultative workshop for Exploring Renewable Energy options for Smart Campus at Delhi Jal Board.

GSES India also conducted 5-days Grid-connected technical advantage course in the month of July, August and October at Muscat, Oman. Training program was attended by the engineers/entrepreneur from the different organization.

Participants from NEPeD, Nagaland has also participated in 6-day face-to-face training program in Solar Photovoltaic System Design and Installation at New Delhi. This training program was sponsored by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

What did the participants like most about the programmes?

GSES Training Update for January - May 2019

GSES India has trained 125 engineers and entrepreneurs during January - May 2019. Our professional advantage, technical advantage and business advantage courses were attended by participants from different states of India, Oman and Afghanistan. Apart from our face-to-face trainings 25 participants have enrolled for GSES online professional advantage and business advantage courses. GSES face-to-face trainings have been conducted in its Centre at Delhi, Ahmedabad and Muscat in Oman. GSES has also conducted a two days training program on “Rooftop Solar Grid Engineer for Utility officers” for the electricity distribution companies under the World Bank SUPRABHA Technical Assistance Programme.

GSES Training update for the Second Quarter of FY 2018-19

GSES India has trained 40 engineers and entrepreneurs during the second quarter of the financial year 2018-19. Participants from Delhi/NCR, Punjab, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa and few overseas participants from Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Nigeria attended our professional advantage, technical advantage and business advantage courses. We have also received a group of participants from the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and development and the Ministry of  Sustainable Energy for Rural Development, Government of the Republic of Afghanistan.

GSES Training Update for the First Quarter of Financial Year 2018-19

GSES India has trained 60 engineers and entrepreneurs during the first quarter of the financial year 2018-19. Participants from Delhi/NCR, Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and few overseas participants from UK, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Maldives attended our professional advantage, technical advantage and business advantage courses. A 5-Days customized training on design and installation of solar PV based microgrid systems was delivered to 16 participants nominated by Clean Energy Access Network (CLEAN).

GSES Training Update: April 2018

GSES India has conducted four trainings during the month of March 2018 in its training centre at New Delhi. The  4-Weeks full-time professional advantage courses on photovoltaic systems design, installation and maintenance have been concluded on 28th March 2018. This course includes step-by- step methodology for design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of grid-connected and off-grid solar PV systems. A 5-Day Technical Advantage Course on Grid-connected PV Systems Design and Installation has been conducted during 5–9 March 2018. This comprehensive course covers design and installation of grid-connected solar PV systems for rooftop and MW Scale projects. A 3-Day Renewable Energy Project Management (REPM) course on solar power project development has been conducted during 5-7 March 2018.  A 5-Day Technical Advantage Course on Standalone Solar Power Systems Design and Installation has been conducted during 19 – 23 March 2018. This comprehensive course covers design and installation of off-grid, micro-grid and solar pumping system. For all these training programmes, we have received participants from Delhi/NCR, Kerala, Karnataka, West Bengal, Maharashtra and four overseas participants from Oman and Somalia.

GSES Training Update: March 2018

GSES India has conducted five trainings during the month of February 2018 in its training centre at New Delhi. The 2-Weeks and 4-Weeks fulltime professional advantage courses on photovoltaic systems design, installation and maintenance have been concluded on 16th and 28th February 2018 respectively. These courses includes step-by- step methodology for design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of grid-connected and off-grid solar PV systems. A 5-Days Technical Advantage Course on Grid-connected PV Systems Design and Installation has been conducted during 5–9 February 2018. This comprehensive course covers design and installation of grid-connected solar PV systems for roof top and MW Scale projects. A 3-Days Business Advantage Course for Start-ups and Business Executives on Solar Power System Fundamentals has been conducted during 5-7 February 2018. This course is designed to give business executives a sound understanding of solar PV technology, design aspects and economic feasibility in a structured approachA 5-Days Technical Advantage Course on Standalone Solar Power Systems Design and Installation has been conducted during 19 – 23 February 2018. This comprehensive course covers design and installation of off-grid, micro-grid and solar pumping system. For all these training programmes, we have received participants from Delhi/NCR, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal and three overseas participants from the UK, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan.

GSES India has conducted three trainings during the month of January 2018 in its training centre at New Delhi. This professional advantage course includes step-by-step methodology for design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of grid-connected and off-grid solar PV systems. A 5-Days Technical Advantage Course on Grid-connected PV Systems Design and Installation has been conducted during 8 - 12 January 2018. This comprehensive course covers design and installation of grid-connected solar PV systems for roof top and MW Scale projects. A 5-Days Technical Advantage Course on Standalone Solar Power Systems Design and Installation has been conducted during 15 - 19 January 2018. This comprehensive course covers design and installation of off-grid, micro-grid and solar pumping system. For all these training programmes, we have received participants from Delhi/NCR, Haryana, Punjab, West Bengal, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Kerala and three overseas participants from the USA, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

GSES India has also conducted one corporate training for design Engineers and project managers for a reputed company based in Chennai from 29th  Jan to 2nd Feb 2018. This 5-Days training was customised to meet the specific need of the company for design and installation of MW scale Grid-Connected PV systems.

GSES India has conducted three trainings during December 2017. The 4 weeks fulltime training on Solar PV systems design, installation and maintenance has been concluded on 29th December 2017. This professional advantage course includes step-by-step methodology for design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of grid-connected and off-grid solar PV systems. A 5 Day Technical Advantage Course on Standalone Solar Power Systems Design and Installation has been conducted during 18-22 December 2017. This  comprehensive course covers design and installation of off-grid, micro-grid and solar pumping system. For both the trainings, we have received participants from Delhi/NCR, UP, Odisha, Punjab, Mumbai and two overseas  participants from the USA and Sudan.

We have also conducted another corporate training for managers and engineers for a reputed company based in Chennai. This 3 days training was customised to meet the specific need of the company who is entering into solar industry as a project developer.

The 4 weeks fulltime training on Solar PV systems design, installation and maintenance has been concluded on 30th November 2017. This professional advantage course includes step-by-step methodology for design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of grid-connected and off-grid solar PV systems. A 5 Day Technical Advantage Course on Grid-connected PV Systems Design and Installation has been conducted during 13-17 November 2017. This  comprehensive course covers design and installation of grid-connected solar PV systems for roof top and MW Scale projects. For both the trainings, we have received participants from Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram and two overseas participants from Cameroon and Zimbabwe.

GSES Master Class at Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2017

REI-2017

GSES is official training partner in the Renewable Energy India Expo 2017 organized by UBM India. The Renewable Energy India Expo is an annual event, which is considered to be the epicentre for deliberations on mainstreaming of renewable energy in India. The 11th Renewable Energy India Expo will commence on 20th September 2017 at India Expo Centre, Greater NOIDA, India. The mega event is expected to attract over 16,000 trade visitors, 550 exhibitors, 1,000 delegates and 10 country pavilions from across the globe and is going to host business matching, workshops, and knowledge based conference sessions.

GSES as the official training partner of REI 2017 will conduct two Master Classes to address issues on the following topics. The classes will be delivered in lecture format using PowerPoint presentations and sharing of case examples.

5-Days Grid Connected PV Systems Design & Installation Course Concluded

The 5-days comprehensive course on Grid Connected PV Systems Design & Installation was brought to end on 24th June 2017. The course covered detailed technical information and step-by-step methodology relating to design and installation of grid-connected solar PV systems. The course was attended by engineers and professionals from Sri Lanka, Singapore, Bahrain and different states of India.
